Role Overview
This position functions as the central analytical and coordination hub for the HR function, converting high-level strategic objectives into structured, data-informed execution across all HR teams and business partners. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will generate actionable people insights that drive decision-making, lead the annual planning cycle and board-level reporting, and integrate predictive analytics and AI capabilities to ensure every strategic initiative has a measurable path to impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse workforce data—including headcount trends, recruitment service levels, turnover, and retention—to produce insights that go beyond static reporting and directly inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Excel VBA, and Smartsheet, integrating data from HRIS, payroll, and other workforce systems to create a single, decision-ready view.
- Apply predictive modelling and statistical techniques to forecast talent needs, identify attrition risk, and optimise resource allocation before gaps arise.
- Track and monitor HR budget performance against actuals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain fiscal discipline.
- Coordinate the annual HR business planning cycle, liaising with Finance and departmental stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate inputs.
- Prepare high-impact board papers and presentations by consolidating data from across HR functions, aligning commentary with leadership priorities.
- Redesign HR workflows through AI-enabled automation, reducing manual effort and shifting the team’s focus from data collection to strategic analysis.
- Establish data governance standards, internal controls, and reporting templates to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness across all HR data.

- Analytical expertise: Strong grounding in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data interpretation; applied experience with attrition-risk scoring, talent-pipeline analysis, and workforce forecasting.
- Financial acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage HR budgets, perform OPEX analysis, and conduct headcount cost modelling.
