Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable female driver and personal assistant to support an individual or family with daily transport and household-related administrative work. You will be trusted with confidential information, vehicle upkeep, scheduling, and a variety of errands that keep the principal's personal and professional life running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that requires you to be both safety-conscious and proactive in handling tasks without constant supervision, and it is open to qualified female candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the driver's daily schedule, ensuring timely pick-ups, drop-offs, and route adjustments based on Nairobi traffic and weather conditions.
- Accompany the principal to appointments, meetings, or events and provide discreet support whenever needed.
- Handle household or office administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, making reminders, and organising paperwork.
- Deliver sensitive or confidential documents to the correct destinations and run personal errands such as bill payments or shopping.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean inside and out, and schedule routine servicing, tyre checks, and fuel refills without reminders.
- Track vehicle inspection and insurance deadlines, promptly reporting any mechanical issues or roadworthiness concerns.
- Take minutes or relay messages accurately when supporting the principal in professional or family matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum KCSE certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- A valid Kenyan driving licence with clean endorsement and a proven record of accident-free driving.
- At least three years as a professional driver, with active experience driving within Nairobi and surrounding counties.
- Excellent knowledge of Nairobi roads, shortcuts, alternative routes, and peak-hour traffic patterns.
- Experience supporting executives, busy professionals, or families in a personal assistant capacity is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong spoken communication skills in English and Kiswahili, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- A professional, well-groomed presentation and the maturity to interact respectfully with the principal, family members, and business contacts.
- Demonstrated punctuality, good organisation, and flexibility to adjust working hours when urgent needs or early-morning schedules arise.
