Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Diet Clerk to join our Catering team in a healthcare environment. The selected candidate will play an important role in ensuring patients receive accurate, safe, and diet-compliant meals based on prescribed dietary plans.
This role involves close coordination with dietitians, nursing staff, and kitchen operations to maintain high standards of patient nutrition and food service quality. The ideal candidate should be organized, attentive, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with dietitians, nursing staff, and kitchen teams to ensure correct meal distribution
• Ensure all patient meals comply with prescribed dietary requirements
• Maintain accurate records of meal orders and dietary instructions
• Monitor and verify meal accuracy before distribution
• Support catering operations in daily food service activities
• Ensure proper communication between clinical and kitchen teams
Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in Nutrition, Dietetics, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
• Experience in hospital catering or healthcare food services is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in meal handling
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and meal management systems
