Job Title: Front Office Administrator / Health Records Clerk
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Front Office Administrator / Health Records Clerk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, manage administrative tasks, and maintain accurate health records within a dynamic, service-oriented healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, check‑in/check‑out, and telephone inquiries.
- Maintain, update, and secure patient health records and administrative files using Health Management Information Systems.
- Ensure accurate data entry, record retrieval, and compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline patient flow and information exchange.
- Handle billing and payment processing or direct patients to the appropriate department.
- Assist in preparing reports, documents, and correspondence as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Front Office Administration, Business Administration, Health Records, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least two (2) years of working experience in a service‑oriented industry.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and standard office software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
