Role Overview
This role sits at the centre of our digital presence, where you will own the entire content lifecycle from ideation and creation through to publishing, community engagement, and performance analysis. Day to day, you will produce a steady stream of on-brand assets, manage the publishing calendar across multiple social platforms, and turn audience interactions into lasting relationships. Your work directly shapes how the brand is perceived and ensures every piece of content earns its place by delivering measurable growth in reach, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain a rolling content calendar that aligns with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and cultural moments, ensuring a balanced mix of formats and platforms.
- Write, design, and edit original social posts — including static images, short-form video scripts, stories, and captions — that reflect an authentic and consistent brand voice.
- Manage daily posting and scheduling across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook, using native tools and third-party schedulers.
- Act as the first line of response for comments, direct messages, and mentions, resolving questions and escalating issues while keeping a welcoming community tone.
- Track and report on content performance using platform analytics and social listening tools, translating raw data into clear weekly and monthly insights.
- Identify content gaps and growth opportunities by reviewing competitor activity, trending topics, and audience feedback, then pitch new ideas to the team.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and customer support teams to source accurate information, repurpose existing material, and keep all messaging aligned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, or community management, with a portfolio that demonstrates both visual and written work.
- Proficiency with core content tools including the Adobe Creative Suite (or Canva for design work), video editing software (such as CapCut or Premiere), and scheduling platforms like Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite.
- Strong understanding of content strategy fundamentals: audience segmentation, content pillars, tone of voice, and channel-specific best practices.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement data, draw actionable conclusions, and present findings in a clear, simple format.
- Excellent writing and editing ability in English, with an eye for grammar, storytelling, and hooks that stop the scroll.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while keeping both quality and accuracy high.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media studies, journalism, or a closely related field is preferred but not mandatory if your portfolio is exceptional.
