Role Overview
The Head of E-Commerce will direct the online business, setting priorities for digital sales and leading growth across the company’s e-commerce channels. The role combines commercial planning with hands-on oversight of marketplaces, pricing, product presentation and performance, helping the business grow revenue while protecting profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy, translating business goals into plans for online growth.
- Manage sales channels including Amazon, Noon and other relevant marketplaces, tracking performance and identifying opportunities to improve results.
- Oversee pricing, promotions, product selection, stock availability and online merchandising.
- Use sales and conversion data to identify barriers to purchase and recommend improvements.
- Track e-commerce KPIs, budgets, margins and P&L, taking action to support revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify potential new channels and commercial opportunities for expanding online sales.
- Lead the e-commerce team and coordinate with sales, marketing, supply chain and operations colleagues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong experience in e-commerce leadership, including responsibility for marketplace management.
- A demonstrated record of increasing online revenue and improving profitability.
- Experience overseeing digital sales platforms, team performance and business results.
- Sound knowledge of e-commerce strategy, marketplace operations and online sales optimisation.
- Ability to monitor KPIs, manage budgets and assess commercial performance through P&L reporting.
- Strong analytical, strategic and commercial judgement, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
