Role Summary
The Content Creator will develop engaging visual and short-form content that captures the excitement of the She Code Africa 10th Anniversary Campaign and Summit 2026. This volunteer role supports content production before, during, and after the summit across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photos and videos during campaign activities and the summit
- Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube Shorts
- Develop behind-the-scenes content and event highlights
- Support live content creation during summit activities
- Create engaging reels and social-first videos
- Work closely with the design and communications teams to execute content ideas
- Organise and submit captured content for post-production
- Support user-generated content initiatives and attendee interviews
- Assist with Vox Pops and testimonial recordings during the summit
Requirements
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Good understanding of mobile photography and videography
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.) are an advantage
- Creative storytelling skills
- Ability to work under pressure during live events
- Passion for digital content creation and community engagement
