Job Title: Content Copywriter
Role Summary
The Content Copywriter will develop compelling written content that supports the She Code Africa 10th Anniversary Campaign and Summit 2026. This includes creating engaging copy that drives awareness, registrations, and community engagement across digital and traditional channels.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging social media captions
- Develop website copy for summit pages
- Draft email campaigns and newsletters
- Write blog articles
- Support the development of press releases and media materials
- Produce speaker, partner, sponsor, and volunteer announcement copy
- Write ticket campaign messaging and promotional copy
- Support campaign storytelling across different content formats
- Ensure all content aligns with the She Code Africa brand voice and messaging
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong storytelling ability
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms
- Basic understanding of content marketing and digital communications
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
- Experience writing for social media, websites, or marketing campaigns is an added advantage
