Role Purpose
We are seeking a high-performing Consumer & Market Insights Specialist to bridge the gap between complex data and strategic commercial execution. In this role, you will be the primary architect of actionable insights, utilizing advanced analytics to drive market share growth and optimize retail performance. You will move beyond simple reporting to perform custom forecasting and elasticity modelling, helping the organization navigate pricing, promotions, and trade development. This position is designed for a resilient, consumer-centric leader who can translate numbers into compelling narratives that influence global stakeholders and local commerce teams alike.
Primary Responsibilities
Commercial Analytics & Market Intelligence

Deliver specialist analytics focused on market share expansion, pricing sensitivity, and promotion effectiveness.

Execute custom insight projects, including complex forecasting and advanced consumer research methodologies.

Integrate data from retail audits, consumer panels, and brand tracking to identify emerging trends and growth levers.

Identify high-impact shopping and basket insights to drive product penetration across various demographics.
Strategic Partnership & Business Planning

Partner with Customer Development teams to implement data-led strategies for joint business planning and channel management.

Support retailer negotiations by providing evidence-based insights on assortment optimization and category growth.

Collaborate with global analytics hubs to adapt and implement international best practices within local market execution.

Utilize BI platforms and data visualization tools to communicate performance metrics to senior leadership.
Operational Problem-Solving

Apply marketing fundamentals (6Ps) to identify gaps in current retail and trade strategies.

Drive price elasticity modelling to ensure competitive positioning and sustainable revenue growth.

Maintain a focus on high-performance accountability, ensuring that all data initiatives result in tangible business improvements.
Professional Requirements
Background & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing.

Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, consumer insights, or customer development.

Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Excel, Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, and diverse data visualization software.

Expertise: Deep understanding of category management, assortment optimization, and research analytics.
