Description:

Humana is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Compensation Lead to join its team and support the development, implementation, and administration of enterprise-wide compensation programs. This remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong compensation expertise, analytical abilities, and experience supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will lead compensation initiatives, conduct market and financial analysis, develop recommendations for leadership, and support programs related to pay structures, pay equity, recognition, and transparency. This role requires strong business judgment, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide compensation programs aligned with business strategy and pay objectives.

• Conduct research and analysis of employee, market, and financial data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.

• Prepare presentations and reports to support compensation-related decisions for senior leadership.

• Manage compensation projects related to market competitiveness, pay structures, recognition programs, career frameworks, pay equity, and pay transparency.

• Monitor the effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements in partnership with HR teams.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective compensation solutions.

• Apply independent judgment when handling complex compensation issues and related responsibilities.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within compensation practices and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation, compensation program evaluation, or related HR analytics roles.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong research, problem-solving, organizational, and consultation skills.

• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong knowledge of:
• Compensation Programs, Pay Structures, and Market Analysis.
• HR Analytics, Data Interpretation, and Compensation Strategy.
• Pay Equity, Pay Transparency, Recognition Programs, and Workforce Planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Workday.

• Experience with Power BI.

• Progressive HR consulting or business operations experience.

• Experience analyzing workforce data and implementing process improvements.

• Experience advising leaders on complex business challenges.

Work Requirements:

• This is a remote position with no regular travel requirements.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required for training or meetings.

• Employees must have a dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect confidential information.

• Minimum home internet requirements include 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed.
