Role Overview
The Commission Sales Agent develops property-sale opportunities independently, using a personal network, referrals, partnerships, digital outreach and in-person business development. From identifying prospective buyers to helping complete a sale, the agent supports the company’s revenue goals while representing its developments accurately and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and qualify prospective buyers and investors through networking, referrals, social media, corporate contacts, exhibitions, activations and other direct outreach.
- Record prospects in the approved CRM before or promptly after meaningful engagement, and keep lead ownership, contact history, follow-up actions and pipeline status up to date.
- Build relationships with prospective clients, brokers and referral partners, and follow up consistently to move opportunities towards a decision.
- Present properties and explain their features, benefits and investment potential; guide interested clients through site visits, reservations and the purchase process.
- Work towards applicable sales and revenue targets, negotiate only within approved parameters, and support clients with booking and payment steps.
- Coordinate customer documents and transaction updates with Sales Administration, Finance, Legal and Customer Experience teams.
- Respond to client questions and concerns, escalating matters that require company input, and encourage referrals through attentive service.
- Track competitor activity, pricing signals and buyer feedback, sharing relevant market observations and business opportunities with management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Real Estate or a related discipline.
- One to three years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or another customer-facing role is desirable. A record of independently generating leads and closing sales will be an important consideration.
- Real estate sales experience is an advantage. An established network that can produce qualified property prospects is highly desirable.
- Confident prospecting, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivation, commercial awareness, a customer-focused approach and the ability to work with limited supervision in a target-driven or commission-based setting.
- Basic familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools; professional training in sales or customer relationship management is an advantage.
- Integrity and care in handling confidential information, customer data and company materials. The agent must follow approved sales processes, register leads correctly and disclose relevant actual or potential conflicts, including representation of competing property offerings.
- No authority to change approved prices or payment terms, offer unapproved discounts or incentives, bind the company, or make claims beyond approved sales materials and written authorization.
