System Six is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Cloud Bookkeeper to join its fully remote accounting team. The company provides cloud-based bookkeeping, payroll, bill-pay, invoicing, and sales tax services to clients across the United States. This role is suitable for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys working with multiple clients and managing a variety of accounting tasks.
The selected candidate will support day-to-day bookkeeping and finance operations, including transaction entry, invoicing, payroll preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end activities. Key Responsibilities:
• Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple clients.
• Process transactions, invoices, bill payments, payroll preparation, and journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting activities.
• Organize and manage assigned tasks through Karbon, the company’s practice management system.
• Communicate with clients when clarification or specific information is required.
• Work closely with senior team members and seek guidance when necessary.
• Manage deadlines and prioritize work across multiple client accounts.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
• College Degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com or Ramp, Gusto or similar payroll software, and other cloud accounting platforms.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and reliability.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing client requirements.
• Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and willingness to continuously improve.
• Must be based in the United States and available five days a week during standard professional hours.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Transactional coding, reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll processing
• Month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
• QBO, Bill.com, Ramp, Gusto, Karbon, and other cloud accounting technologies
