Role Overview
This is the most senior operating role at Attila Chicken, carrying end-to-end accountability for a group that runs poultry farming and production alongside restaurant outlets, franchise and vendor cart networks, and distributor channels. The person in this seat sets the commercial direction for the whole business, then stays close enough to the day-to-day to make sure farms, kitchens, carts, and depots are all pulling in the same direction. Success looks like a group that grows revenue, protects supply and quality, and reports clean, profitable numbers to the Board every cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the group's short- and long-range strategy, then convert it into annual business plans, budgets, and measurable targets that each department can own.
- Hold full profit-and-loss accountability across every unit — monitoring margins, cost structures, and working capital, and stepping in when performance drifts.
- Direct the operating portfolio as a whole: farms, production facilities, restaurants, franchise outlets, vendor carts, and distributor relationships.
- Drive revenue growth by opening new outlets and markets, widening the franchise and vendor cart footprint, and deepening coverage through distributor partnerships.
- Protect poultry supply and farm productivity so that production volumes, quality standards, and continuity of supply keep pace with commercial demand.
- Align farm-side and commercial-side teams so procurement, inventory, logistics, and customer-facing operations work from one plan rather than competing agendas.
- Set performance expectations for departmental heads, coach and mentor senior managers, and build a culture of discipline, accountability, and high service standards.
- Install the systems, reporting, controls, and governance the Board needs, while managing operational and compliance risk and representing Attila Chicken with industry, commercial, and stakeholder audiences.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years in management, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience running multi-unit or multi-site operations, with franchises, distributors, or similar partner networks considered a strong advantage.
- Hands-on commercial and P&L ownership — comfortable reading financial performance, setting budgets, and making calls that protect both growth and margin.
- A track record of actually growing a business: new markets, new outlets, new channels, or expanded distribution.
- Background in FMCG, agribusiness, food production, retail, hospitality, or distribution is preferred, particularly where supply chain and perishable product quality matter.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the judgement to balance commercial ambition against risk.
- Working command of business analytics, supply chain management, change management, and performance management, plus the entrepreneurial instinct to spot and act on opportunities.
