Description:

The Waste Lab is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Lead to join its growing team in Dubai. This role focuses on accelerating business growth by acquiring new clients, strengthening existing partnerships, and expanding the company’s footprint across the UAE.

The organization works with a wide range of clients including hotels, corporate organizations, events companies, schools, and food & beverage businesses. The core mission is to reduce food waste and transform it into valuable, sustainable outcomes that support environmental responsibility across industries.

This opportunity is ideal for a proactive sales professional who is passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to meaningful environmental impact while driving business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities across hospitality, F&B, corporate, and education sectors

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and growth

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market presence across the UAE

• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients

• Manage a pipeline of leads and consistently achieve growth targets

• Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and stakeholder meetings

• Maintain strong knowledge of market trends in sustainability, waste management, and circular economy initiatives

• Provide regular reporting on sales performance, client feedback, and business opportunities

• Act as a brand ambassador promoting environmental sustainability solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development or sales roles

• Prior experience in sustainability, hospitality, or F&B sectors is highly preferred

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• A proactive “hunter” mindset with the ability to generate and close leads independently

• UAE-based candidates with an existing professional network preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

• Strong presentation and client relationship management skills

• Passion for sustainability and environmental impact initiatives
