Business Conservation Analyst

Role Overview

In this operations analysis role, you will turn internal, industry and market data into reporting and insights that support business planning and day-to-day decision-making. You will also help improve reporting automation, coordinate system testing with departmental ICT champions, and work with teams across the business to strengthen operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve automation for MLAK dashboard reporting and monthly operations reports in the business intelligence environment.
• Coordinate weekly testing of core-system issues with departmental ICT champions and follow up on reported problems.
• Prepare quarterly industry data analysis and respond to ad hoc analytical requests.
• Review market data, identify trends and communicate relevant findings to stakeholders.
• Support financial projections for product lines and branches.
• Compare business performance with information from industry IRA and RBA reports, alongside other relevant data sources.
• Help the Operations team compile board reports and provide analytical support to other departments.
• Monitor and review operations automation initiatives with departmental managers and the Business Analyst, while helping track risk registers and responses to operational audit findings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least two years of analyst experience in an insurance company, investment house or stockbroker.
• A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
• A certification in data analysis or business analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong attention to detail, effective organisation and the ability to work independently.
