Role Overview
This regional Data & Analytics leadership role sits at the intersection of global strategy and local commercial delivery. You will ensure the data and analytics roadmap stays aligned with business priorities, governing budgets, resource plans, and the transition to a DevSecOps operating model across multiple end markets. Day to day, you will coordinate delivery teams, validate use cases, and work closely with country leads, finance, and service providers to turn data-driven opportunities into measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the regional IT and data analytics roadmap by aligning plans with global programs, local market priorities, and the DBS PMO governance framework.
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring timely, quality outcomes through clear communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Oversee budgets and cost tracking for data initiatives, including effort estimates, recharging, and benefit realisation, to keep projects within financial boundaries.
- Conduct gap analyses on operational data requirements and enforce change control processes across systems and processes.
- Drive discovery using both qualitative and quantitative methods to build data-driven business cases and strategic plans.
- Coach developers and service providers on quality management, stakeholder handling, and adherence to established delivery frameworks.
- Feed end-market requirements into the corporate data model and support the transformation of the data ecosystem and operating model.
- Validate that all delivered use cases are user-centric, consumer-focused, and provide tangible commercial value, with complete and concise stakeholder communication.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing data, analytics, or IT project portfolios in a regional or multi-market environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business leaders, finance teams, end-market managers, and global function heads.
- Solid understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and delivery governance frameworks, including quality assurance and process compliance.
- Experience with budget management, cost estimation, and benefit tracking for technology-driven initiatives.
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable business strategies and data requirements.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, comfortable guiding both internal teams and external service providers.
