CVS Health is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Authorization and Prescription Representative to join the Enteral Nutrition Center team. This role supports healthcare operations by processing authorization and prescription requests while ensuring accurate documentation before patient orders are shipped.
The successful candidate will contribute directly to improving patient care by managing new patient orders, updating electronic medical records, and coordinating with internal teams to help patients receive timely healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process authorization and prescription requests accurately and efficiently.
• Review documentation to ensure all required information is complete before shipment.
• Manage new patient orders and update electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with Patient Admissions and internal departments to support patient onboarding.
• Maintain accurate data entry and healthcare documentation.
• Provide support to ensure smooth healthcare service delivery.
Requirements:
• Experience with data entry.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office programs.
• Prior Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Healthcare documentation processes.
• Customer service operations.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Medical equipment or healthcare insurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with home infusions or durable medical equipment (DME).
• Experience working with healthcare insurance.
