Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor

Role Overview

Around The Block is hiring Assistant Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Supervisors to help run its Dubai restaurant operations. In this hands-on role, you will guide the service team, keep daily activities running smoothly, and help create a welcoming experience for guests, drawing on experience in Japanese dining or a similar concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily service and restaurant tasks to support efficient operations and a positive guest experience.
• Supervise, coach, and assist team members, helping maintain consistent service performance.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns with professionalism, following issues through to a suitable resolution.
• Monitor cleanliness and service standards, ensuring the team follows established operating procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to organise service and maintain an effective flow during busy periods.
• Support a hospitable, guest-focused environment across the restaurant.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant or a comparable dining concept.
• Strong customer service and guest-relations skills, including the ability to handle concerns calmly.
• Leadership skills and experience supporting or supervising a restaurant team.
• Good working knowledge of restaurant operations, service management, and hospitality standards.
• A genuine interest in delivering attentive, memorable guest experiences.
• A diploma or degree in hospitality management, hotel management, business administration, or a related discipline is estimated; this qualification is not confirmed.
