Description:
Al Geemi Contracting Co. L.L.C is currently looking to hire a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Lab Technician to support laboratory and field operations related to construction material testing and quality assurance in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates interested in developing their technical expertise within construction quality control and materials testing environments.
The selected candidate will assist in ensuring that construction materials meet required engineering specifications and Abu Dhabi technical standards while supporting laboratory efficiency and maintaining accurate testing procedures. The position offers practical exposure to professional quality management systems and advanced material testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory and on-site testing for construction materials including soil, asphalt, and concrete
• Assist in preparing quality inspection reports and documentation related to material certification
• Support laboratory operations by maintaining testing records and ensuring data accuracy
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment to guarantee reliable testing results
• Ensure all tested materials comply with project specifications and Abu Dhabi regulatory standards
• Work closely with engineers and quality control teams to support project requirements
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of construction laboratory testing procedures and methodologies
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining testing accuracy and quality standards
• currently residing in the UAE is preferred
• Immediate joiners will be given priority consideration
