Cisco is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support two Directors within its Americas Service Provider Technology, Media, and Communications team. This remote opportunity is ideal for a highly organized professional who can manage executive schedules, coordinate meetings, handle confidential information, and provide strategic administrative support.
The successful candidate will work closely with leadership teams, manage priorities independently, coordinate travel and expenses, and support special projects. This role requires excellent judgment, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Director calendars by prioritizing meetings, schedules, and appointments.
• Coordinate meetings, including agendas, meeting logistics, technology setup, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare meeting materials, take notes, and track post-meeting action items.
• Support communications and approvals while handling routine inquiries and ensuring timely completion.
• Arrange executive travel plans, itineraries, and expense reporting.
• Provide analytical support for special projects, including research, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive business information and documents.
• Participate in staff meetings and support leadership team activities.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in an administrative environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting a Senior Manager level or above.
• Strong knowledge of Mac/Windows desktop applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing executive calendars, planning meetings, and coordinating travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with executives, senior staff, clients, and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Executive administrative support and calendar management.
• Microsoft Office Suite and business productivity tools.
• Travel coordination, expense management, and confidential documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in the high-tech industry.
• Previous Cisco experience is preferred.
• Associate Degree is an advantage.
