Role Overview
Reporting to the Operations Lead, this internship blends day-to-day office administration with hands-on digital marketing execution. You will keep records, calendars, correspondence, and procurement on track while also publishing social content, answering online audiences, and reporting on how campaigns are performing. The role exists to keep both sides of the business moving — accurate administration behind the scenes, and a consistent, responsive digital presence out front.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems so records, data-entry logs, and administrative documents stay accurate and easy to retrieve.
- Draft routine correspondence, monitor the official email account, and route incoming inquiries to the right person.
- Coordinate internal meeting schedules and manager calendars, and handle straightforward office procurement requests.
- Assemble routine administrative reports, meeting agendas, and presentation decks for internal use.
- Conceptualise, design, and schedule original posts across the company's social media channels.
- Monitor direct messages, post comments, and online customer queries, responding within agreed turnaround times.
- Track campaign and engagement metrics, then compile a weekly digital marketing summary showing what performed and what did not.
- Support website content refreshes, quick market research, and visual branding tasks as they come up.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a comparable field.
- One to two years of practical exposure to office administration, social media handling, or digital marketing support.
- Comfortable working in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint — alongside the publishing tools used to schedule and manage social posts.
- Clear written and spoken English, with copywriting that needs only light editing before it goes out.
- Strong time management: able to move between desk-based admin tasks and content deadlines without letting either slip.
- A proactive eye for digital trends, brand aesthetics, and the kind of content that actually gets audiences engaging.
What We Offer / Why Join
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in the Mombasa Road corridor of Nairobi, carrying a monthly stipend of KSh 20,000. You will work closely with the Operations Lead and gain genuine exposure to both business administration and digital marketing rather than being confined to one lane — useful groundwork whether you later specialise in marketing, operations, or broader business management. Applicants who already live along or near the Mombasa Road transport axis are especially encouraged to apply, given the daily commute.
To be considered, submit an updated CV together with a portfolio of your content or marketing work.
