Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to support its day-to-day accounting and financial operations in Dubai. The role will involve invoice verification and booking, vendor and customer reconciliations, bank accounting, expense tracking, VAT support, and financial closing activities.
The successful candidate will also contribute to statutory audits and assist with preparing regular management information reports, including sales and gross margin reports. Candidates should currently be working in Dubai or another emirate and be willing to relocate to Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify invoices and complete invoice booking accurately.
• Prepare monthly vendor ageing analysis and vendor reconciliations for audit purposes.
• Post bank payment entries and prepare regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare customer ageing reports every two weeks and coordinate with the business team regarding overdue receivables.
• Maintain monthly expense trackers and assist with expense reviews as assigned.
• Support the preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
• Contribute to statutory audit processes and provide required documentation.
• Prepare and support MIS reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and gross margin reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Candidates should currently be working in Dubai, UAE, or another emirate and be willing to relocate to Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Bank reconciliation and payment entries
• UAE VAT support and financial closing
• MIS and financial reporting
