We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant / Senior Accountant to join a reputable company in Dubai, operating within the Readymix, Contracting, Building Materials, or MEP sectors. This role is suited for candidates with strong accounting experience and the ability to manage financial operations for multiple projects while ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
The position offers hands-on exposure to project accounting, VAT management, and preparation of financial reports, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers in the construction and contracting industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management information system (MIS) reports, and performance analyses
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Manage VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Monitor project costs and track expenses across multiple projects
• Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and reports
Requirements:
• 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, MEP, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of project accounting, especially in contracting or MEP environments
• Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
