Accountant (Finance & Systems)

A growing restaurant business in Dubai is looking for a proactive and business-focused Accountant (Finance & Systems) to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond routine accounting tasks and understands the connection between financial data and business operations.

The successful candidate will support accounting activities, analyze outlet performance, work with POS and sales data, and help improve reporting processes and systems. Candidates with strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a willingness to understand operations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting activities and support the Senior Accountant.

• Work with POS systems and sales data across multiple outlets.

• Analyze food costs, supplier pricing, and operational expenses.

• Review supplier invoices and maintain payment documentation and controls.

• Assist with implementing new financial processes, reporting systems, and improvements.

• Support accurate financial records and business performance analysis.

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of accounting experience.

• Graduate or part-qualified ACCA / CMA / CA / CPA candidates preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

• Ability to understand business operations beyond accounting entries.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to visit operational areas and understand business processes.

• Based in the UAE with fluent English communication skills.

• Arabic language knowledge is an advantage.

• F&B experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Accounting operations and financial controls

    • Excel reporting and data analysis

    • POS systems and business reporting
