Description:
A well-established food manufacturing company located in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment and are looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, monitoring inventory costs, and supporting overall financial compliance. The position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
Candidates with hands-on experience in food manufacturing finance processes and strong technical accounting skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Monitor inventory transactions and support inventory management processes
• Perform cost accounting activities and analyze production costs
• Handle VAT-related documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Maintain data accuracy within ERP systems and financial software
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is mandatory
• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles
• Experience with inventory management and cost accounting
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of:
• ERP Systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Financial Analysis and Reporting
