Description:
A reputable organization based in Abu Dhabi is currently looking to hire a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong accounting expertise, experience working within large organizations or corporate groups, and the ability to manage financial operations accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and a solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory due to regulatory and compliance-related requirements. Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial records
• Perform account reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and support internal financial operations
• Maintain compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies
• Work with SAP ERP systems for financial data processing and reporting
• Support VAT-related accounting activities and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation and reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience within large organizations or corporate groups
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Arabic language proficiency is mandatory
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems
• Strong experience in general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing
• UAE VAT experience will be considered an advantage
• CMA, CPA, or ACCA certification is preferred
• Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately or on short notice will be preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and reconciliation procedures
• SAP ERP accounting systems
• UAE VAT regulations and compliance
• Month-end closing and ledger management
• Corporate accounting standards and financial controls
