Description:

A growing organization in Dubai is currently looking to hire an experienced Accountant with a strong background in restaurant and retail operations. The company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional who can efficiently manage daily accounting activities, monitor operational financial performance, and support overall business financial operations.

This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have hands-on experience handling accounting responsibilities within restaurants, retail outlets, or multi-branch operations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily sales reporting activities and perform accurate cash reconciliation for business operations

• Follow up with suppliers regarding payments, invoices, and outstanding balances

• Monitor food costs, stock levels, inventory movement, and operational expenses across branches

• Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly closing procedures and reconciliations

• Handle VAT-related documentation, filing, and compliance tasks according to UAE regulations

• Coordinate with the operations team regarding branch performance and financial tracking

• Maintain accurate accounting records, bookkeeping, and data entry within accounting systems

• Support management by preparing financial analysis reports and operational summaries

• Ensure all financial records are updated, organized, and maintained with accuracy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in restaurants and retail accounting operations is mandatory

• Prior UAE accounting experience is required

• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of inventory control, food cost analysis, and branch reporting

• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks within tight deadlines

• Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle will be considered an advantage

• Candidates with a valid UAE visa will be preferred

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
