Description:
United Medical Industries Limited Co. LLC (UNIMED) is currently looking to recruit a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to become part of its Finance Department in Dubai Industrial City. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is eager to contribute to structured financial operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the implementation of financial controls. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and banking transactions accurately in the accounting system
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements along with customer and supplier accounts
- Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including calculating and recording depreciation
- Participate in physical inventory checks for stock and fixed assets to ensure proper documentation
- Review daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by the Chief Accountant
- Carry out any additional accounting duties assigned by the Finance leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong sense of responsibility with good leadership and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and commonly used accounting software
- Good command of English (Arabic language skills are considered an added advantage)
