Description:

A well-established organization based in Ajman is currently looking to recruit a skilled and detail-focused Accountant to strengthen its finance department. This full-time position is ideal for professionals who possess solid UAE accounting experience and a strong understanding of local financial regulations and compliance standards.

The selected candidate will be expected to join immediately following the interview and evaluation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage daily financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare journal entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Generate periodic financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with UAE regulatory requirements
• Assist in budgeting activities and financial forecasting
• Provide support during internal and external audit processes
• Ensure strict compliance with UAE accounting standards and internal company financial policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance procedures
• Proficiency in modern accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar systems
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred
