Description:

An urgent opportunity is available for a highly skilled and confident Accountant to join a well-established Construction / Contracting / Interior Fit-Out company based in Dubai, near Emirates Tower Metro Station. This role is strictly intended for professionals with proven UAE experience in contracting or interior fit-out operations. Candidates without relevant UAE industry exposure will not be considered.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting activities related to construction and interior fit-out projects, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective cost control. This position requires the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple project accounts, and coordinate closely with internal departments and senior management.

🧾 Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for construction and interior fit-out projects
• Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports, MIS, and financial analysis
• Demonstrate advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis
• Work extensively with Tally ERP for accounting operations
• Handle payroll processing, WPS submissions, and end-of-service settlements
• Manage staff attendance records and leave tracking
• Process and monitor LPOs in coordination with the Procurement team
• Interpret BOQs, manage project costing, and track materials
• Maintain supplier accounts and perform regular reconciliations
• Coordinate closely with the Quantity Surveying department for budgeting and cost control
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit and regulatory compliance
• Monitor cash flow and manage payment schedules
• Report directly to the Finance Head and CEO

🎯 Requirements:

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in a Contracting or Interior Fit-Out company (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of construction accounting standards and practices
• Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and project-based accounts
• Confident personality with the ability to perform under pressure
• Flexibility to adjust office timings based on project needs
• Male candidate required
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
