Description:
We’re Hiring: Accountant | Full-Time
A well-established car rental company is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role is best suited for professionals who have hands-on accounting experience within the car rental industry and are comfortable managing day-to-day financial operations related to vehicles, fines, and client billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Download, verify, and accurately allocate Salik and traffic fines
- Generate customer invoices and issue Statements of Accounts on a regular basis
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on collections
- Record client payments and issue manual receipts when required
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow, collection, and position reports
- Handle fuel cost entries, Darb/Salik allocations, and issue credit notes and debit notes
- Manage petty cash transactions and reconcile POS Z reports
- Create, update, and maintain client master records
- Coordinate effectively with sales teams, internal departments, and software support teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory
- At least 2 years of accounting experience within a car rental company
- Strong working knowledge of Salik, Darb, traffic fines allocation, and vehicle-related invoicing
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and documentation
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
