Accountant

Job Vacancy: Restaurant Accountant (Part-Time / Full-Time) - IMMEDIATE JOINING

Location: UAE - Abu Dhabi

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Restaurant Accountant to manage the financial operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate must have UAE experience, particularly in the F&B industry, and strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Laise and work closely with the owner on day to day assignment
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial records
• Record sales, expenses, supplier invoices, and journal entries
• Monitor food cost, beverage cost, and labor cost percentages
• Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and wastage control
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and management reports
• Handle cash flow, petty cash, and bank reconciliations
• Process payroll, staff salaries, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB)
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors
• Handle UAE VAT compliance:
• VAT registration (if required)
• VAT calculation, filing, and submission to FTA
• VAT reconciliation and documentation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Prepare accounts for audit and liaise with auditors
• BUDGETING allocations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accountant in a restaurant or F&B business in the UAE
• Strong understanding of restaurant costing and margins
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, Zoho, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and reporting skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA) is an advantage
