Role Overview

This position is for an immediately available, Malayalam-speaking male professional with genuine supermarket experience to support daily operations at a UAE-based retail store. Your day-to-day focus will be on serving customers, managing stock, handling billing, and keeping the sales floor organised so the store runs efficiently and remains profitable. Your ability to communicate naturally with Malayalam-speaking customers and colleagues will play a central part in building everyday loyalty and smooth teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in Malayalam, helping them locate products and answering questions about pricing, availability, and promotions.
• Operate the billing counter accurately, handling cash, card payments, and digital payment transactions.
• Receive incoming deliveries, cross-check invoices against purchase orders, and note any discrepancies immediately.
• Replenish shelves and display units throughout the day, rotating perishable stock to reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Perform regular price audits to ensure all labels, shelf tags, and promotional signs match the system.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in aisles, storage areas, and checkout zones.
• Support the store team during stock counts and help achieve daily sales and checkout efficiency targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Male candidate with strong spoken and written Malayalam language skills.
• Minimum 1–2 years of previous experience in a supermarket, grocery store, or similar retail environment.
• Holder of Higher Secondary (Commerce), B.Com, or BBA qualifications.
• Must be currently present in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Confident using cash registers, handling basic inventory paperwork, and following store merchandising standards.
• Reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working as part of a multicultural team.
