Accountant

A leading company in the Cosmetics and Beauty industry is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting and compliance activities.

This opportunity is suitable for finance professionals with strong accounting knowledge, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage inventory accounting, VAT compliance, and financial analysis. Candidates with experience in cosmetics, beauty, retail, or FMCG industries will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete accounting cycle and prepare accurate financial reports.

• Handle inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and related financial records.

• Support VAT compliance, tax requirements, and audit coordination.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

• Maintain accurate accounting records through ERP systems.

• Review financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting processes.

• Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth finance operations.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in accounting and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of inventory management, VAT compliance, and ERP systems.

• Experience with Zoho, Odoo, or similar accounting software.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Previous experience in cosmetics, beauty, retail, or FMCG industries is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Full accounting cycle, financial reporting, and reconciliation

• VAT, tax compliance, and audit support

• ERP systems, inventory accounting, and financial analysis
