Description:
A reputable organization in Dubai is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can manage financial records, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide valuable financial support to business operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent organizational skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, maintain, and update financial records, reports, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitor company expenses.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and ensure timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience of 3–5 years as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and computerized financial systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Accounting software, Microsoft Excel, taxation, and financial compliance.
