Job Title: Experienced Chef

Our client, a well-established hospitality organization, is seeking an experienced Chef to manage food preparation, maintain quality standards, and support day-to-day kitchen operations.

Job Summary

The Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen activities, ensuring consistency in food quality, managing inventory, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain consistent quality standards across all dishes
  • Support kitchen operations including stock control and inventory management
  • Plan menus that incorporate both local and international cuisines
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet service demands
  • Adapt to shift schedules, weekends, and public holidays as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, catering, or similar hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and plate presentation
  • Ability to prepare a variety of local and international cuisines
  • Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and HACCP standards
  • Experience in stock control and inventory management
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
