Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly disciplined Security Manager to oversee the safety and security operations of our hospitality facility. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar establishment and possess strong knowledge of security procedures, risk management, access control, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor property access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Manage incident reports, investigate security breaches, and document findings accurately.
- Develop, implement, and update security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services as needed.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff by responding promptly to security incidents or disturbances.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions to prepare staff for emergencies.
- Maintain a secure environment across all areas of the property, including public spaces, back-of-house, and guest rooms.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of security management experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk management, access control, and emergency response protocols.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of security personnel.
- Excellent observational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Proficient in using security systems, incident reporting software, and basic office tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, CPR/First Aid) are preferred.
- Valid security license or ability to obtain one as required by local regulations.
