Description:
A school-based institution in Dubai is urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Counselor / Counselor to support student wellbeing programs and mental health initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within school environments and a commitment to promoting positive student development.
This role focuses on delivering counseling services, supporting students individually, and working closely with parents and school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. The candidate will also contribute to implementing wellbeing frameworks and child protection policies across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly counseling sessions
• Provide individual student support and guidance
• Organize and deliver parent workshops
• Implement and monitor the Child Protection Policy
• Promote student wellbeing and mental health initiatives across the school
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in schools within Dubai
• DHA License or transferable license is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Familiarity with KHDA Wellbeing Survey (DSWC)
• Strong knowledge of:

• Child Protection & Safeguarding Policies
