Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Team Leader to manage and supervise a field or sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving loan disbursement, customer acquisition, and collection targets while ensuring exceptional customer service and supporting overall branch performance growth. You will guide and motivate your team to meet and exceed goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and supervise a team of field or sales representatives to achieve monthly and quarterly targets for loan disbursement, customer acquisition, and collections.
  • Monitor daily team activities, including field visits, customer interactions, and sales performance, providing real-time feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve team productivity, customer satisfaction, and collection efficiency.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and recognize achievements.
  • Collaborate with branch management to identify growth opportunities and address operational challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of team performance, pipeline status, and market insights for reporting purposes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader, Sales Supervisor, or similar role in a field sales or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of loan disbursement processes, customer acquisition strategies, and collection practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team to consistently achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office, and basic reporting tools.
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
