A logistics organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor – Land Freight to oversee and coordinate daily transportation activities. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in land freight operations and a thorough understanding of logistics processes across the UAE and GCC region.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing fleet movements, coordinating shipments, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. The role requires strong planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities to support smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily land freight operations and oversee fleet movements.
• Coordinate domestic and cross-border transportation activities.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and transport partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure timely delivery of shipments while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and track performance metrics.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of land freight operations experience in Dubai/UAE.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Proven experience in domestic and cross-border land transportation operations.
• Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE and GCC freight logistics operations.
• Transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Fleet management and shipment coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
