Job Description

Position Summary

  • Responsible for coordinating and executing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end shipment processes
  • Handle sea, road, and cross-border operations
  • Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and clients
  • Oversee customs clearance procedures
  • Coordinate warehousing activities
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation
  • Track shipments and update clients
  • Resolve operational issues

  • Strong supply chain understanding
  • Freight forwarding expertise
  • Customs and warehousing knowledge
  • Problem-solving and organization

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in logistics/freight forwarding across Eastern Africa
  • Knowledge of customs processes – Local and Transit
  • Knowledge of road and transit corridors across East Africa
  • Fluent in English and Swahili
  • Basic computer skills
