Our client, a fast-growing agribusiness and poultry brand, is seeking to recruit a creative and dynamic Podcast Producer & Host to join their Media, Branding & Communications team. The Podcast Producer & Host will be responsible for the planning, production, hosting, recording, and distribution of the organization’s official podcast. The role will play a key part in positioning the organization as a leading voice in poultry farming, agribusiness, entrepreneurship, franchising, youth empowerment, and community development. The successful candidate will create compelling audio and video content that attracts investors, franchisees, farmers, partners, customers, and the general public while strengthening brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate weekly podcast episodes.
- Develop podcast themes, formats, and content calendars.
- Research topics related to agribusiness, poultry farming, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation.
- Identify, invite, and coordinate guest speakers and industry experts.
- Manage podcast recording sessions and production schedules.
- Host podcast episodes professionally and confidently.
- Conduct engaging interviews and facilitate meaningful discussions.
- Ensure discussions are informative, inspiring, and aligned with brand objectives.
- Represent the organization positively in all podcast engagements.
- Develop episode scripts, outlines, and interview guides.
- Create storytelling content highlighting business impact and initiatives.
- Produce content covering farming success stories, franchising opportunities, youth empowerment, and agribusiness investment.
- Record high-quality audio and video podcast content.
- Edit and refine episodes for clarity, quality, and consistency.
- Ensure proper use of studio equipment, sound, lighting, and production tools.
- Maintain professional broadcasting standards at all times.
- Publish and distribute podcast episodes across approved digital platforms.
- Manage content scheduling and release timelines.
- Support promotion of episodes across social media channels.
- Maintain an organized content archive and media library.
- Identify and engage guests, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Coordinate guest scheduling and preparation.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all engagements.
- Promote the organization’s brand, products, and services through podcast content.
- Support marketing and franchise recruitment initiatives.
- Drive audience engagement, subscriptions, and brand loyalty.
- Contribute to overall brand awareness and market positioning.
Skills & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Broadcasting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in podcasting, broadcasting, radio, journalism, or content production.
- Experience in hosting interviews or public discussions will be an added advantage.
