Note:
- Fluency in Gujarati or Hindi is a required skill for this role due to the nature of supplier communications and stakeholder engagement.
Our Client is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to support the Finance Department and work closely with the Head of Finance in managing daily accounting and financial operations.
Key Duties
- Process payments, receipts, and reconciliations
- Support invoicing, credit control, and supplier accounts
- Assist with financial reporting and documentation
- Maintain accurate accounting records and stock-related entries
- Support budgeting, analysis, and compliance processes
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams on financial matters
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili, and English fluently.
- CPA qualification or ongoing certification preferred
- 3+ years' accounting experience within Pharmaceutical Industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo
- Highly organized and analytical
