The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road. Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training. In November 2024, the institution was elevated to a National Polytechnic, officially becoming Friends National Polytechnic Kaimosi (FNPK). This milestone marked a significant step in its commitment to providing high-quality technical and vocational education. As a training institute under the Ministry of Education (MOE), FNPK is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by rapid technological advancements, evolving education policies, and changing labor market demands. Job Description

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting/Finance option), Auditing, Accounting, Business Administration (Account of Finance Option) or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Membership to professional body ICPAK or IIA is a must.
  • Must have 2 year's experience preferably in a TVET Institution
