Description:
A reputed organization in the UAE is currently hiring an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer to join its construction and project estimation team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical knowledge in estimation, tendering, and construction project analysis.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling both pre-tendering and post-tendering activities, ensuring accurate cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and project evaluation. The position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and proficiency in construction estimation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tender documents for MEP and construction projects
• Conduct quantity take-off and prepare BOQs accurately
• Manage RFIs and RFQs during the tendering stage
• Perform cost analysis and comparison studies
• Handle post-tendering activities including variations and cost evaluations
• Coordinate with project and engineering teams for accurate estimations
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements
• Support budgeting and cost control processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of UAE construction industry experience (mandatory)
• Experience in construction, fit-out, or renovation projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture
• Strong knowledge of:
• AutoCAD
• PlanSwift
• Candy software
• Quantity take-off and BOQ preparation
• Tendering and estimation processes
• Strong analytical, technical, and computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
