Description:
Freesia is currently seeking experienced DEWA Approved professionals to join its team for ongoing 132/11kV Substation Projects across the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for highly skilled engineering and project management professionals with strong technical expertise in power infrastructure, substations, and high-voltage systems.
The company is looking for qualified candidates who possess extensive knowledge of DEWA standards, regulations, and project requirements. Successful applicants will contribute to the planning, execution, quality management, commissioning, and delivery of critical power infrastructure projects throughout the region.
Available Positions:
- Project Engineer – Civil Substation
- Site Engineer – Civil Substation
- QA/QC Engineer – Civil Substation
- HV T&C Engineer – HV Division
- HV Site Manager – HV Division
- Civil Design Coordinator – Civil Substation
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support various phases of 132/11kV substation projects
• Ensure project activities comply with DEWA standards and specifications
• Coordinate engineering, construction, quality assurance, and commissioning activities
• Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and operational performance
• Support site execution, inspections, and technical documentation processes
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the successful delivery of power and infrastructure projects
Requirements:
• Valid DEWA Approval is mandatory
• Proven experience in 132/11kV Substation Projects
• Relevant UAE experience in power, HV substations, and infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of DEWA standards, specifications, and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in project-based engineering environments
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of:
• High-voltage substation systems and infrastructure
• DEWA engineering standards and compliance requirements
• Power transmission and distribution projects
• Quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Project execution, testing, and commissioning activities
