Job Description

Job Summary

  • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a designated supervisor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collecting and collating data for the development, implementation and review of corporate communication policies, strategies, regulations and procedures.
  • Maintaining good ambience in the reception area.
  • Profiling visitors and issuing visitors passes.
  • Responding to visitors’ queries and telephone inquiries.
  • Screening and directing visitors to designated offices and areas.
  • Recording and confirming visitors’ appointments.
  • Maintaining daily record of visitors’ details.
  • Receiving correspondence delivered at the reception and dispatching to relevant office.
  • Receiving and reporting customer complaints.
  • Distributing relevant Corporation’s brochures to customers.
  • Attending to telephone calls and logging them into the incident management system.

Requirements

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Public Administration, Public Relations, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
