Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle cash, card, and mobile money transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Balance the cash register daily and prepare detailed cash reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions to ensure financial accountability.
  • Assist guests and staff with payment inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal control systems.
  • Report any discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial transactions promptly to management.
  • Support end-of-day reconciliations and handovers to the finance department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area and ensure security of all financial documents and cash.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a cashier in hospitality or retail environments.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or cashiering systems
