A thriving fashion retail store in Karen is looking for a proactive, customer-focused Fashion Shop Assistant to help with daily store operations. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support
Welcome customers and assist them in selecting fashion items, including designer bags and accessories
Offer tailored product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales
Handle transactions efficiently using POS systems while ensuring accuracy
Respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
Coordinate and follow up on customer orders and deliveries
Retail Operations & Inventory Management
Receive, unpack, and organize incoming stock deliveries
Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or shortages
Maintain up-to-date records of inventory, sales, and stock movements
Assist in coordinating deliveries with suppliers or courier services
Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
Arrange products in visually appealing displays aligned with brand standards
Update displays regularly to highlight new arrivals and promotions
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Social Media & Marketing Support
Support online promotion of products through social media platforms
Capture product photos or short videos for marketing content when needed
Engage with customers online to boost brand visibility and sales
Team & Operational Support
Work closely with team members to meet daily sales targets
Assist in executing in-store promotions, campaigns, and special events
Provide administrative support and prepare basic reports as required
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in retail, preferably within fashion, accessories, or luxury goods
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory tracking, and merchandising practices
Basic knowledge of social media marketing for business
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail
Good numeracy and organizational skills
