Job Description
Job overview:
The Handyman will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the organization’s premises to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained working environment.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry works including making, repairing, and installing furniture, doors, and
- Carry out plumbing installations and
- Undertake flooring works and minor masonry
- Conduct painting works and surface finishing as
- Repair and replace general hardware and
- Support basic electrical repairs and wiring
- Troubleshoot and perform general building maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from
- Inspect premises regularly to identify and resolve maintenance
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working
- Prepare basic maintenance reports when required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance
- Good working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and basic electrical
- Practical experience in general construction and property
- Ability to diagnose problems and recommend effective
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and ability to follow
- Positive attitude and strong work
